  I agree with your POV, chickpea. Good to do the research. I could never subject anyone - baby or not - to such pain. If adults want it done, then adults should get it done - to themselves.

  FGM is also a horrible thing, and there are a few different variations of its horrible theme. Just google it up and see. It's absolutely wretched. good luck with the babies!

  a loved one is a jw.

  it's not a hardcore cult, but it's a mind-control cult.. (the purpose of this thread is not to argue that point, but to answer the thread question.).

  i am not proposing that i hold a loved one against their will, but would a straightforward.

  Maybe just exposing the person in question to a lot of searching discussion and questions over a long period of time would work. Then finish it up with a little George Carlin on religion. That ought'a fix things right up.

  i was doing some thinking this morning about my mother, when she said she wanted to "work on our bond" over a pizza, and i pretty much didn't bother with the offer.

  i was thinking about how i'd confronted her before my boy was born about all the physical abuse which she denied.

  i started thinking back to that time in my life, when i would shake uncontrollably thinking about school, let alone actually going to school.

  I recommend getting someone else to take him to and from the vet. One of my cats was very nice to me until I took her to get spayed. Ever since then, she has barely tolerated me. She scratched me the other day. I've tried and tried to get on her good side, but she hates my guts ever since I got her spayed.
